BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College women's ice hockey player Lindsay McNamara (Milton, Mass.) has been named as a Second-Team All-NESCAC selection in conference honors handed out on Thursday.
McNamara paced the Polar Bears offense in 2007-08, scoring a team-high seven goals and netting six assists for the season. She notched two powerplay goals and scored two game-tying goals as Bowdoin posted a school-record six draws this season, finishing with a record of 5-12-6 overall. In 46 career games she has scored 14 goals with 16 assists.
The junior has had a tremendous year, leading the Bowdoin field hockey team to a NCAA Division III title while being named NESCAC Player of the Year last fall. McNamara will join the Bowdoin women's lacrosse team this spring.
