White Earns ECAC Honor

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior defensive back Lamont White (Boston, Mass.) has been named a Northeast Football All-Star by the Eastern College Athletic Conference in post-season honors announced on Tuesday.

A First-Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference selection this fall, White closed out his career with a flourish, leading the Polar Bears with four interceptions this season. The electric cornerback returned two of those picks for a touchdown, tying for third on the team with 12 points scored in 2007. He also defended eight passes and made 21 tackles this season, while his four picks ranked fifth in the league in interceptions.

The Polar Bears finished the 2007 campaign with a record of 3-5, earning their second-straight C-B-B (Colby-Bates-Bowdoin) Championship.
