Mullins Named First-Team All-NESCAC

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's lacrosse senior captain Kevin Mullins (Duxbury, Mass.) has been named First-Team All-NESCAC and First-Team All-New England in selections announced this week. The Polar Bears finished their season with a record of 7-8.

The lone Polar Bear to earn postseason honors, Mullins picked up the well-deserved recognition following a solid all-around campaign in 2007. Playing in all 15 games this season, the midfielder was second on the team in scoring with 10 goals and 16 assists. In addition, he stood second on the team with 36 groundballs for the year. He earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors following a four-goal, two-assist performance in a key NESCAC victory over Trinity College on April 7.

Mullins, who was a Second-Team All-NESCAC selection in 2005, finishes his career with 34 goals and 45 assists. He has also been an Academic All-NESCAC honoree and a Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholar.
