Smith earns his first All-Conference honor following an outstanding year on the Polar Bear blueline. A two-way defenseman, Smith anchored a Bowdoin defense that allowed just 2.54 goals per game to place second in the conference. Offensively, Smith contributed 16 points, including three powerplay goals this year on the team that ranked first overall in offense in the conference at 4.29 goals per contest.
Chris Rossi became Bowdoin's full-time netminder mid-way through the season and earned a Second-Team choice thanks to a 2.73 goals-against-average this year. Rossi was tied for the best winning percentage in the conference (10-3-0) and posted a league-best 8-3-0 mark in NESCAC/ECAC East games. The rookie goaltender played 768:02 between the pipes for Bowdoin this year.
