Women's Hoops Slips To Number Six

BRUNSWICK, Maine - After falling for the first time this season, the Bowdoin College women's basketball team (16-1) has slipped from number two to number six in the latest national poll released today by Division III Hoops Online.

The Polar Bears fell for the first time this year to in-state rival Bates last Friday, 56-54 on a pair of last-second free-throws. Bowdoin will begin a busy six-day stretch when host Salem State on Thursday at 7:00 before traveling to play at Colby on Saturday. On Monday, February 11, the rescheduled game against Colby-Sawyer will be played at 7:00 p.m. and Maine-Farmington comes to town on Tuesday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m.
