BRUNSWICK, Maine - On the heels of the program's best season since 1989, the Bowdoin College volleyball team has earned their first-ever All-NESCAC honoree as senior Erin Prifogle (Eaton, Ohio) was named Second-Team All-Conference in selections announced on Wednesday.
Prifogle led Bowdoin offensively in 2006, collecting 326 kills (3.17/game) and pitched in defensively with a team-high 95 blocks (0.92/game). She posted a season-high for the team with 22 kills in a September 20th win over Colby College and earned seven of the team's top-ten single-match block totals this season, including a personal-high of eight on September 29 against Bates.
Bowdoin finished their season with a record of 20-11, finishing with a winning mark for the first time since 1998 and reaching the 20-win plateau for the first time since 1989.
