BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin senior diver Victoria Tudor (Chicago, Ill.) headlined three Bowdoin members on the NESCAC Women's Swimming and Diving All-Conference team announced on Tuesday. Tudor earned NESCAC Diver of the Meet at the 2006 Championship last weekend at Greason Pool, while assistant Polar Bear coach Harvey Wheeler was named the conference's Diving Coach of the Year.
Tudor won the three-meter diving competition and placed second in the one-meter dive, capturing All-NESCAC honors in both events. She also claimed the Four-Year Diving Award after accumulating the most points of any senior diver at the NESCAC Championship during her career.
Bowdoin also had two other All-Conference honorees in juniors Katie Chapman (South Beach, Ore.) and Megan McLean (Simsbury, Conn.). Chapman placed second in the 200-yard freestyle event at the NESCAC Championship, while McLean was third in the 50 freestyle.
Bowdoin finished seventh of 11 teams overall at the 2006 Championship.
