Men's Squash Starts With Sweep

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team swept a pair of matches this weekend at the Harvard Round-Robin Tournament, taking a 6-3 win over Tufts and 9-0 win over Connecticut College.

Against Tufts, Bowdoin picked up a win at the top of the ladder with Bruce Saltzman winning at number two. The key to the result, however, was the Polar Bears' domination of the lower end of the ladder as Christopher Nehrbas, Nick Adams, Chris Metcalf, Elliot Beck and Raymond Carta took victories in the fifth through ninth postition to claim the win.

Bowdoin eased past Conn. College in their second match of the day, as Matt Dresher took a victory in the number one position. In addition to all of the winners against Tufts, Zach Linhart (third) and Jacob Sack (fourth) also won their respective matches.
