BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College field hockey squad will play Messiah in the NCAA Semifinals on Friday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m. on the campus of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The Polar Bears (18-0) are ranked fourth in the latest NFHCA Poll, while the Falcons (19-2) are ranked third in the nation.
The second semifinal contest is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. between top-ranked Salisbury (19-1) and second-ranked Ursinus (20-2). The winners will play at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday for the National Championship. One-day ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students and children. A two-day ticket pass is $10 for adults and $6 for students and children. Tickets will not be available for pre-sale and can be purchased the day of the game.
The Polar Bears, the only unbeaten team in collegiate field hockey, will be making their first-ever appearance in the National Semifinals, and fans can follow the games live on the internet thanks to Washington & Lee, who will be providing live audio broadcasts of all games this weekend. A link will be posted on the Bowdoin Athletics website on Friday prior to the first semifinal contest.
