Women's Hoops Slips to Number Two

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Following their loss to Emmanuel College last weekend, the Bowdoin College women's basketball team has dropped to number two in the nation in the latest National Poll released on Tuesday. Wisconsin-Oshkosh (15-0) claimed the number one ranking, while Emmanuel- unranked prior to beating Bowdoin- sits at number 19.

The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Polar Bears (10-1), who will place Division III's longest home winning streak on the line against Bates on Friday. The Bobcats, one of just six unbeaten teams in the top 25, is ranked ninth in the country. Gametime is scheduled for 6:00 on Friday evening. Bowdoin has won 47 consecutive home games in Morrell Gymnasium.
