Cox Earns All-New England Honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College women's soccer player Kendall Cox (Guilford, Conn.) has been named a first-team All-New England choice after a stellar senior season and outstanding career for the Polar Bears. It is the third straight season that Cox has earned an All-New England selection.

Cox, who was a three-time first-team All-NESCAC choice, was a senior captain and defensive leader in 2004 for the Polar Bears, who finished with a 9-6-1 mark and reached the NESCAC semifinals for the fourth straight year. The Guilford, Conn. native anchored a backfield that allowed just 14 goals in 16 games this year.

In four seasons at Bowdoin, Cox played in 58 games and Bowdoin allowed just 53 goals, for a goals-against-average of 0.91. She was a third-team All-American selection last season.
