Combs Qualifies for NCAA's


BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College junior Andrew Combs will compete at the Division III NCAA Championship this weekend in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Combs qualified thanks to his ninth-place finish at the New England regional last weekend.

Forty-seven individuals were selected to participate in the championships. All regions automatically qualify the first four individuals. Additional at-large berths (15) were awarded to those regions with the first 15 finishers in the previous year's championships.

The University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, will host the 2004 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships, November 20, at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m. Central time.
