Women's Hoops Cracks Top Five

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Another week, another spot for the Bowdoin College women's basketball team. The Polar Bears moved up one more spot in the latest national poll released today by Bowdoin (9-0) now stands at number five in the country and is off to the best start in school history.

The Polar Bears picked up a 79-61 win over Plymouth State last week before Sunday's game versus Colby-Sawyer was postponed due to snow. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, February 11 at 7 p.m. The ranking is the highest ever for the Bowdoin women's basketball team, who reached the Sweet Sixteen of the N.C.A.A. Tournament last spring.
