BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin men's and women's soccer teams flew to England last week on a two-week excursion that will combine recreation and preparation for the upcoming school year.
The Polar Bears will play four or five games in addition to training sessions, and will also take in the sights of Scotland and England. In addition to touring the Scottish countryside and famous London landmarks, the team will take in two Premiership games and tour the first-class facilities of world-class soccer. They will also take in an International Friendly between England and Ukraine.
The Polar Bear teams will fly home on Sunday, August 22 and will open their regular seasons on September 11. Photos of the Bowdoin women's team at Logan Airport are courtesy of Dody Cox.
