Carosi Earns National Player of the Week Honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior captain Mike Carosi (Warwick, R.I.) has been named Division III's National Offensive Player of the week by U.S. College Hockey Online. He scored four goals and six assists as Bowdoin went 4-0 in road games against Worcester State, Salem State, UMass- Boston and Babson over the holidays.

The highlight of the stretch came when Carosi scored two goals and added two assists in Bowdoin's 5-4 win over Umass-Boston on Jan. 4. These performances earned Carosi NESCAC Player of the Week honors as well. Carosi leads the NESCAC in scoring with eight goals and 15 assists in 10 games. Carosi is also currently third in the nation in scoring with a 2.30 goals per game average. The Polar Bears will play two crucial NESCAC games this weekend at Williams on Friday and at second-ranked Middlebury on Saturday.
