Tennis Qualifies For NCAA's
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's and women's tennis teams both qualified for the NCAA Tournament as pairings were announced on Monday afternoon.
The Polar Bear men will play in the Northeast Regional hosted by Williams College on Saturday and Sunday, May 1-2. Bowdoin (10-5) will face Tufts (6-5) at 3:30 on Saturday in a first-round match while Williams will play Bates. The winners will play at noon on Sunday. Bowdoin played at Tufts on April 9th and dropped a close 4-3 decision.
The Polar Bear women will play at the Northeast Regional hosted by Amherst on May 1-2. Bowdoin (12-6) will face Middlebury (15-3) on Saturday at 2:00. The winner will play the Jeffs on Sunday at 1:00. The Polar Bears defeated Middlebury on April 24, 7-2.
