Postseason Honors Continue For Trenkle

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior guard Lora Trenkle (Surry, Maine) earned two more post season accolades this week. The All-American was named ECAC New England Player of the Year for second time in her career. In addition, she was also tabbed as a First Team All-American by Women?s DIII news.

Trenkle led Bowdoin to the most successful season in school history, compiling a 30-1 record, with their lone loss coming in the NCAA National Championship game. The senior co-captain led the team in scoring (13.9) and assists (4.0) this season, and will graduate first all time in games played (115) and second in scoring with 1636 points. For her efforts, Trenkle has already been named this season?s NESCAC and MWBCA Player of the Year.
