BRUNSWICK, Maine - The New England Small College Athletic Conference has announced their men's ice hockey All-Conference teams and Bowdoin was honored with two selections. Sophomore Adam Dann (Burlington, Vt.)- pictured, right- was named first-team All-NESCAC, while junior Nate Riddell (Nanaimo, B.C.)- pictured, left- was tabbed as a second-team selection.
Dann, the NESCAC's Rookie of the Year last season, captured first-team honors by leading the team in goals with 19 tallies this season. He was dominant on the powerplay, scoring seven times while also notching a team-high four game-winners this year. Riddell was the Polar Bears' top defender in 2003-04, scoring 15 points, including 14 assists. The quarterback of the squad, Riddell led a special teams unit that 39 powerplay and 12 shorthanded goals this year.
Bowdoin finished their season with a record of 16-8-0. The conference team is determined by voting among the conference coaches.
