BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's soccer team took advantage of a crazy week that juggled the national rankings as the Polar Bears improved from 21st to 14th in the NSCAA poll released on Monday.
Bowdoin is on quite a roll since falling to Amherst on September 27th. The Polar Bears are 4-0-1 since and have allowed only one goal in those five games, while outscoring opponents 16-1. Bowdoin eased past the University of New England (6-0) and stifled Connecticut College (1-0) in their two wins last week and currently stand at 7-1-2 on the season. Junior forward Bobby Desilets was stellar in the two contests, scoring a hat trick against UNE and the lone goal of the game against Conn. College.
