BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin men's soccer team, fresh off a 2-1 overtime win against Wheaton on Sunday, leaped from 24th to 8th in the latest NSCAA poll released on Monday evening. The women's soccer team received votes in their national poll and are ranked number four in New England.
The men's team is ranked number one in New England and are the first of three NESCAC teams in the poll. The Polar Bears rallied to defeat Wheaton on an overtime game-winner from Tucker Hodgkins and will return to action on Saturday when they open their NESCAC season at home against Wesleyan.
The women's team defeated Babson 5-0 on Saturday and will also face Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon.
