BRUNSWICK, Maine - The NESCAC has
announced the selections for their Men's Lacrosse
All-Conference squad and Bowdoin's Kyle Courtiss
and Jordan Fay were honored as a first and
second-team choice, respectively. The Polar Bears
reached the first-round of the NESCAC playoffs
this season and ended the year with a mark of 7-9.
Senior Kyle Courtiss (Duxbury, Mass.) was tabbed as a first-team selection after leading the conference in goals and placing second in points per game. His 47 goals were the most by a Bowdoin player since Judd Newkirk scored 47 in 1997. Combine his goals with his 10 assists, and Courtiss had a hand in over 32% of Bowdoin's goals this season.
Senior Jordan Fay (Garden City, N.Y.) was stellar on defense for Bowdoin in 2003 and earned a second-team selection for his efforts. The 6-3, 220-pound defender also scored three goals and dished out an assist this season.
