Women's Basketball Regional Gametime Info
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The
NCAA announced gametimes and ticket
information today for the upcoming Regional
Championship this weekend to be held at
King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The Polar Bear women's basketball team will play Southern Maine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, with the second game between King's College and Eastern Connecticut to follow at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students and children under age six are free. The regional championship game will be at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m.
In other news, both Kristi Royer and Lora Trenkle were named first-team All-Maine today in a vote by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association. The Polar Bears are ranked seventh in the latest national poll and are 25-2 this season.
