McKissock Tabbed as NESCAC Player of the Week

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College women's ice hockey senior Emily McKissock (Dedham, Mass.) has been selected as the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) player of the week. The Polar Bears are currently one of only two unbeaten teams in any division of collegiate hockey, as they currently have a 9-0-2 mark and a #2 national ranking.

McKissock led Bowdoin to three tough road points this past weekend against two of the top teams in the nation. McKissock made 21 saves in a 3-1 win at fifth-ranked Williams College on Friday before posting 39 saves in a 1-1 tie at fourth-ranked Middlebury on Saturday. Overall, she finished the weekend with 125 minutes played, a .967 save percentage and a 0.96 GAA.

Bowdoin will return to action on Wednesday when they host Southern Maine.
