BRUNSWICK, Maine - The most recent work of the world's most renowned ski photographer is coming to Bowdoin College. In his fifty-second film, COLD FUSION, Warren Miller continues his tradition of excellence in ski and snow boarding film production. The Bowdoin Nordic ski team presents the premiere of COLD FUSION in conjunction with Nissan Pathfinder on Saturday, December 1. The film will be shown at 7:00 p.m. in Pickard Theater, and discounted tickets can be purchased in advance at the Smith Union Information Desk. Tickets are only $5 for students and $7 for the general public if purchased in advance and $7 and $10 at the door. Proceeds go to the Nordic ski team's 2001-2002 season.
Miller hires the world's top skiers and boarders, flies them to the most remote and beautiful places in the world, and photographs them skiing the most extreme runs in the world. In fact, COLD FUSION athletes break two world records in the film. Featuring footage from Iran, Kenya, Switzerland, and Utah, among others, COLD FUSION is sure to be a thrill for skiers and non-skiers alike.
