The Bowdoin College men's ice hockey team

seventh in the
latest national poll, will face the United States
Under-18 National Team on Saturday,

The U.S. Under-18 National Team is part of USA Hockey's National Developmental Program. The goal of the program is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and for future hockey careers. The Under-18 team plays a full schedule of Division I and Division III teams in preparation for the World Under-18 Championship in April, held in Finland and Russia.
Currently, 14 members of the team have already committed to Division I schools, such as Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Boston College. Earlier this year, the team played close games against national powers Michigan State (loss, 4-3), Princeton (Loss, 3-1) and Clarkson (Loss, 2-1). Tickets for the game are $5 for adults and $2 for children.
