BRUNSWICK, Maine - Senior captain Scott Jamieson (Marshfield, Mass.) was named NESCAC Player of the Week for his performance in a doubleheader sweep versus Middlebury on Saturday. Jamieson tossed a two-hitter in game one of the the twinbill before returning to pitch two scoreless innings to earn a save in game two. The Polar Bears ended their season with a record of 16-18, one win shy of the school mark for single season wins.
Jamieson ended the season with a record of 7-5 and an E.R.A. of 2.80. He ends his career as perhaps the best pitcher in school history, holding numerous school records including most career appearances (50), most career starts (36), most career wins (19), most career innings pitched (270.1) and most career complete games (20). He also tied the single-season win mark (7) and single-season games started (11) this season.
