BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College senior captain Hunter Walter has been named NESCAC Player of the Week for his performance in three Polar Bear wins last week. The Polar Bears are 11-3 on the season and will face Colby in the NESCAC Semifinals next Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Middlebury, Vt.
Walter scored eight goals and assisted on six others in a 3-0 week for Bowdoin. He scored four goals and added five assists in a 14-10 win over Bates in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament on Sunday. He scored two goals and added two assists in an 8-5 win over Colby, and tallied twice in a 10-8 victory over Trinity.
