Coming off a stellar ice hockey season with the Bears, Owen Smith, will join the ranks of first-years for the men's lacrosse team. As Brunswick High School alumni, his experience playing on the Bowdoin fields growing up could a huge asset to the team. At Brunswick, he merited All-State Honors in soccer, The Travis Roy Award in hockey, All-American Honors on his 2007 State Championship lacrosse team. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, surfing in Cape Cod, white water canoeing, riding his unicycle off-road, and spending time with his parents Jean Shaw and Owen Smith.
