Molly Nestor joins the polar bears this spring for her first season. Molly is a right-handed catcher and infielder whose strengths include calling games and being defensively dependable. Her major is currently undecided, but she particularly enjoys Chemistry and Psychology. In high school, Molly was awarded the Holy Cross Book Award and was a member of the National Honors Society. Molly participated on her high school's varsity softball and hockey teams for all four years. She received awards in both sports including League All Star (softball), Patriot Leader All Scholastic Award (softball), and the 2006 Boston Bruins/MIAA Sportsmanship Award (hockey). For fun, Molly enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, watching the Red Sox, and golfing. This fall, Molly was also a member of the Bowdoin Golf team. Molly is the daughter of Patti and Paul and has a younger sister named Bridget.

What's your favorite Bowdoin thing?
Included among my many favorite things about Bowdoin are the people- from classmates, to professors, to coaches- and the value Bowdoin places on both academics and athletics.

What has been the biggest influence in your life?
My family has been the greatest influence in my life because they have instilled in me a great work ethic and have supported me in all my endeavors.

What are you looking forward to the most next season?
This season, I am looking forward to getting to know my teammates and playing competitive NESCAC softball.
