First-year Grace Kerr from Hamilton, Massachusetts is a talented sprinter/mid-distance runner. A graduate of Hamilton Wenham Regional High School, Kerr competed in cross-country during the fall and ran the 400, 600, 800, 4x400, 4x800 and started learning the high jump her senior year. Kerr holds the high school's 600 and 800 records. In addition, she was All-League for indoors and outdoors in those two events. Kerr was also awarded the Student Athlete Award her senior year from the Salem News.

Her versatility as a runner and high jumper, jumping 5-6 after only 1 season of competing in the event, will be imperative especially at the state meet when the Bears will attempt to defend their state title. When asked what one of her favorite quotes was, she responded with the following from Danny Kaye, "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. Live life to the fullest and have no regrets."
