Marc Dallaire enjoyed a strong first campaign for the Polar Bears in 2007 after transferring from UMass-Amherst. He batted .252 and started 26 games, connecting for 26 hits and 11 runs batted in. At Peabody High School, Marc lettered in football, track, and baseball. A 2-sport captain in football and baseball, Marc was a Greater Boston League All-Star in baseball as a senior after helping his team claim back-to-back GBL Championships and a North Sectional Championship in the State Tournament during his junior season. Marc also excelled in track as he qualified for the Massachusetts State Championships in both the 4 x 200m and the 50yd dash. Recipient of the Arthur J. Barry Memorial Award for Excellence in Scholarship, Athletics, and Character. 2005 Fall Atlantic-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll student at UMass. At Bowdoin, Marc is a prospective Economics major and enjoys reading in his spare time. Father played soccer and hockey at Merrimack College. The son of David and Joyce Dallaire, Marc has two sisters, Stephanie and Jacqueline.
