Laurel Clark will join the Polar Bears this spring for her second season. She has not decided on a major yet, but is leaning toward Math or Science. Laurel's speed and hard work in the outfield will hopefully help to fill some holes in the outfield this season. For fun, Laurel enjoys participating in dance parties, watching movies and the Sawx, and playing sudoku and Egyptian Rat Screw. In the fall, Laurel read to preschoolers as a member of Success by Six. Laurel graduated from Hopkins School in Connecticut Cum Laude and is a National Merit Scholar. In high school, she was a three-sport athlete before tearing both ACL's. Laurel is the daughter of Steve and Carol Clark. She has a younger brother, Ted (16), and two cats: Clementine, and Stanley.

What is your favorite team memory?
Sterno's walk off grand slam against Bates

What is playing on your iPod right now?
So many things! The top 5 in terms of play count are "Hump de Bump" (RHCP), "Fortress" (Pinback), "Heavy Metal Drummer" (Wilco), "Steal My Kisses" (Ben Harper), and "Good People" (Jack Johnson). I also really like Phish, Belle and Sebastian, Sufjan Stevens, Beck, Mason Jennings, Gavin Degraw, Elliott Smith, Fiona Apple, Coldplay, and a bunch of other pop stuff.

What are you looking forward to the most next season?
NOT the promised 6 am practices. I AM looking forward to Florida round 2 though! 17-0 baby. Let's do it!
