Bowdoin's tallest player, sophomore Mark Phillips made an immediate impact on the Bowdoin front-line as a first-year. Appearing in all 25 games last season, he averaged 5.0 points, displaying a deft shooting touch in addition to solid post play. A native of Ashland, Massachusetts, Phillips was two-time Tri-Valley League All-Star who led his team to a League Championship and the South Sectional Finals for the first time in school history as a senior. A 2006 Metro-West All-Star, Phillips was a member of the National Honor Society and is interested in studying history or government at Bowdoin.
