Mike Hauser enjoyed a solid rookie campaign for the Polar Bears in 2005-06, averaging 11.8 minutes per game and appearing in every Bowdoin game a year ago. He will look to step into the starting point guard role in 2007-08. A floor-general for Chaminade High School, in New York, Hauser started as a junior and advanced his team to the league championship game twice. A captain of the team for two seasons, Hauser was a member of the National Honor Society as well. A native of East Williston, N.Y., Hauser is one of seven kids to Craig and Patricia Houser. Three of his older brothers played college basketball. He is interested in pursuing an Economics degree at Bowdoin.
