Jess runs cross country, indoor and outdoor track. Her main event is the 800m, and her personal best is 2:20.08. She also contributes to the 4X800m relay. She ran at Nationals as a senior at Niskayuna High School, and enjoyed the experience of running with many nationally ranked runners.

Jess is planning on being a Biology major and an Italian or Gender Studies minor. She graduates in 2009. Outside of running through three seasons, Jess loves to kayak.
