Ike is from Murrieta, California, and is a graduate of Linfield High School. He competes in the hurdles and took 3rd at the 2006 indoor State Meet with a time of 8:29.

His academic concentrations at Bowdoin are Geology and French. Outside of track, Ike enjoys many other hobbies including listening to music.
