One of Bowdoin's biggest players, attackmen Ben Smith looks to provide the offense with size and versatility. Using his 6'3 frame, Ben keeps defenders at bay and strikes fear into opposing team goalies with his much-feared over hand shot. Ben comes to Bowdoin from St. Andrews School, where he captained the Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse team. He also earned All State in Soccer and Lacrosse. On campus, Ben is a campus tour guide and mentor at Mt. Ararat Middle School. A huge fan of Todd Collins, Ben also plays squash and loves to watch college basketball. Ben's brother, John, ran track at Bates, and his parents are Mary and J.T.
