Ben York enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign for the Polar Bears in 2006-07, playing a pivotal role in the defensive midfield position. At Mercer Island High School, Ben led his team to the lacrosse state championship all four years, winning the title his junior and senior year. Ben was named First Team All-State, Team Captain and MVP, and State Groundball Leader in 2004 and 2005. Ben's Bowdoin Honors include winning the Paul Tiemer Trophy in 2007. Ben is majoring in economics. He is also interested in soccer and skiing. He is the son of Bruce and Kim, and his sister, Casey, is a sophomore at Williams.
