Junior Erin York, returns from a stellar 2006-2007 season in which she was a member of the school record breaking women?s indoor and outdoor 4x400 relay teams. In addition, York earned All-NESCAC honors for her 3rd place finish in the 200 and All-New England status for her participation in the 4x400 in 2007. A Biology major from Carver, MA, York is a graduate of Thayer Academy and is one of Bowdoin?s top sprinters. York runs the 100, 200, and 400. Her personal bests are 12.43 in the 100 and 26.00 in the 200. York?s health and success last year helped the Bowdoin Women?s track and field teams earn the state title both indoors and outdoors and aided them in finishing 3rd at Div. III New Englands.
In addition to track and field, York plays JV and intramural soccer at Bowdoin and if she has any free time, she enjoys drawing and playing the piano.
