Hailing from the west coast, Chelsea Jackson is a thrower for the Polar Bears. From Bend, Oregon, this junior has competed in all 5 throwing events during her career. This year, Jackson will be focusing primarily on the shot put indoors and the shot put and javelin outdoors. The Psychology major brings an energy and enthusiasm to the team like no other individual. She consistently trains in the weights and conditions on the track during the fall to be in top shape come the start of winter. It is this dedication and work ethic that Jackson hopes will get her to Nationals in the javelin this spring. Jackson's diligence and drive earned her a 2nd place finish in the javelin at Div. III New Englands in 2007, her first meet back after a serious back injury.
