Alex Franceschi, a sophomore, was born in Venezuela but spent most of her childhood growing up in the village of Quechee in VT. Alex graduated from the Groton School and has focused her collegiate studies in Government and International Relations. Besides being on the squash team, Alex is also a strong force on the tennis courts in both the Fall and Spring. On the squash team she is known for her power, slamming the ball to the back of the court. She transitions from tennis to squash gracefully, having a natural affinity for racquet sports. Next year she hopes to study abroad in Barcelona. Her favorite shot is the backhand serve return volley drop, much to her opponent's disliking.
