After having a fantastic rookie season at Bowdoin in 2005-06, Jill Anelauskas earned First-Team All-NESCAC honors after a stellar sophomore campaign in '06-'07. She reached double figures in 23 of Bowdoin's 31 games and finished second on the team at 12.9 points per game to go with 5.8 rebounds per contest. She was particularly outstanding in the NCAA Tournament, averaging nearly 18 points per game, including a game-high 21 in a "Sweet Sixteen" round victory over Rochester. As a first-year, she ended as the team's third-leading scorer (10.3) despite coming off the bench. She scored a career-high 25 points in a win over Trinity (1/28/06) and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds against Colby-Sawyer (12/8/05). Lettering in basketball, softball and soccer at Medfield, she is Medfield's career scoring leader in basketball with 1,604 points. She was also named to the Boston Globe Super-Team All-Scholastic and led the Tri-Valley League in scoring three times, helping her team win the league title in 2003-2004. She was a member of both the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
