Golz Fellowships

Story posted January 17, 2014

Alfred E. Golz fellowships support research opportunities and internships for History majors and minors during the summer months. These fellowships have been made possible by a generous gift from Ronald Golz ’56 in memory of his father. Students may apply for between $500 and $3000.

The fellowships are awarded in three categories:

  • Faculty-Student Research Collaborations
  • Student-designed projects that employ innovative technologies (digital media, mapping, etc..)
  • Summer internships where students apply the skills, methods and content learned in their history courses (e.g. museums, archives, libraries, living history museums, non-profits),
