Two people cycling on a path on campus

Welcome!  We hope that the information in this site will help Bowdoin students and alumni/ae prepare to make successful application to a program in a health profession or allied health field. As about 85% of the Bowdoin candidates typically apply to allopathic medical schools, this page emphasizes the specifics of that application process. Much of the information is pertinent to other health professions programs, as well.  Be sure to check the Great Links section to explore a wide variety of options in health care.

In addition to perusing this site, it is important that you speak with the health professions advisor, if you have not already done so. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please email Seth Ramus.

If you are a prospective student or parent seeking a general introduction to health professions advising at Bowdoin, we hope that an overview will help to answer your questions. You are, of course, welcome to browse the rest of the site, as well.
