Bowdoin Peer Health
Peer Health is a group of students that work to improve the health and wellness of their Bowdoin peers through outreach and education.
We create, develop, and coordinate health and wellness events dealing with everything from sleep and stress to sex and relationships.
Bowdoin Queer-Straight Alliance (BQSA)
The Bowdoin Queer-Straight Alliance is a student-led group that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students and their allies. BQSA is also committed to raising awareness of queer issues at Bowdoin and in the Brunswick community.
Counseling Service provides free counseling and psychiatric services to students who are dealing with a range of issues and concerns. Students come to Counseling when they are struggling with anxiety, worry, stress, procrastination, family concerns, relationship problems, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse issues, past traumatic events that may be affecting current well-being as well as other problems that interfere with happiness and satisfaction with one’s life. The counselors are all licensed mental health professionals and you can view the staff online at the CS website. To make an appointment call 725-3145 or email Lindsay Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org.
