The mission of the Grants Office is to advance institutional initiatives and faculty and student research.

We do this by securing financial support from foundations, corporations, and government agencies, fostering relationships with internal partners and external funders, employing best practices in grants and research administration, and supporting the interests and goals of the College and its community. The Office includes Institutional Grants, Sponsored Research Programs, and Research Compliance.

Institutional Grants supports College priorities through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of external funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

Sponsored Research Programs assists faculty members in a variety of ways to support their individual scholarship - proposal development assistance, budget development, proposal processing and review. This includes negotiating resultant grants, contracts, fellowships, and other agreements and ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor guidelines.

Research Compliance fosters a culture of research integrity by promoting the ethical and responsible conduct of research and maintaining compliance with governmental and institutional requirements, through guidance, education, and technical assistance for the College’s research community.
