Open Forum: Read and Listen to the Committee’s Presentation and Public Comments
The Advisory Committee on Darfur held a public forum on Wednesday, April 26th in Searles Lecture Hall to solicit comments from the Bowdoin community on what the College should do in response to the disturbing situation in the Darfur region of Sudan. The committee provided a short presentation outlining the current state of affairs in Darfur, divestment actions taken by other colleges, and potential courses of action Bowdoin can take. Following the presentation, the committee listened to public comment.
