Aurélien Piclin was born in France near Paris. He grew up there until he moved to Clermont-Ferrand at the age of nine. He graduated from the Université Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand but has two more years of study ahead in order to become an English teacher. After his graduation, Aurélien wanted to spend a year in an English-speaking country. As Bowdoin College has an agreement with his university, he took advantage of that and decided to apply. Aurélien had been in the States before but only for vacation. So he wanted to find out what it is like to live in the U.S. He likes to play all kinds of sports, especially outdoor activities. He hopes to make the most of this year in Bowdoin, a great experience that will serve him for the rest of his life.
