Ken's research interests focus on teacher education and learning. As a former high school English teacher, and graduate of Bowdoin's teacher certification program, Ken is primarily interested in development of secondary school teachers. His work outside of teaching courses in the department focuses on supporting local teachers in their efforts to improve practice.
