Bowdoin Summer Art Camp is a fully-supervised day in the art studio that nurtures seeing, exploration, and creativity in young people, ages 5 -16. No experience or expertise is necessary, just enthusiasm for the process of making art and a willingness to experiment with new ways of seeing.
Each session is designed to work as a separate unit, but a child may enroll in more than one session as long as he or she is the appropriate age.
Camp sessions will take place on the third floor of the Visual Arts Center on the Bowdoin College campus.
On the last day of each session, young artists will host their family and friends at an artist's reception.
When the 2010 dates are announced, you may register your child by downloading and completing the application for each participant. Once completed, please mail the application and a non-refundable deposit made payable to Bowdoin College to:
